Image
Here I have completed 2 challenges in one. First for the color challenge, It was to use Tempting Turquoise,Very Vanilla and Close to cocoa. This challenge is from "Created by Courtney" Blog. She has some really cool inspiration over there and it really helped me to have the color challenge. second, Is the sketch challenge. I found that over at "MojoMonday" Now, I changed it up a little by using the scallop oval but that is what challenges are for, right? Soooo, I did have a hard time with Placement of things, Like where in the heck was I going to put the sentiment? I didn't want to cover too much of the DP(Deja Views) and also, where was I going to put the Brown brads? well, after I scalloped the Close to cocoa and vanilla I kinda just threw them on. I think it turned out pretty good and I had alot of fun making it! Please let me know what you think, I love to hear my friends comments! Well, It's off to watch American Idol for me! Hugs to you all!

Hi all,Here I am again, This time I am doing a Bella Sketch Challenge on Splitcoaststampers . So here is the sketch fro you to play along It was a pretty fun one. I also got to use some more of my many hundreds of pieces of DP. I am actually not purchasing any DP until I have used alot of what I have on hand. Well, unless I see some that I just cant live without. We'll see how that goes. So, onto my sketch card. I used Savvyshopabella as my main image and I colored her in once again using my watercolor pencils and blender pen. I used my Sakura jelly roll pens. I just recently purchase a bunch of them and I cannot believe how smooth they go on. I had use gel pens in the past and really didn't like them, but these are really smooth! The Eat,Drink,Sleep, SHOP! I printed off using my CK Creative lettering Vol. 5. I use that alot for my sentiments. If I don't have a stamp that I want to use, I kno

Hello my friends, I hope everyone has had a nice Monday! It's been rainy and icky here in Northern Cali. but the rain is a welcome thing right now! Here is a little something that I put together using my new "Mwahbella" That my Bella Sistah Jamie sent me. This image is so darn cute. I think she is my new fave! Jamie also sent me those awesome Prima flowers. I couldnt wait to use them. The DP I used is from My minds eye, "A girl is... Sugar stripes/ Pink Gingham. I still have over half of this sheet left so I am going to attempt to use the whole sheet. I colored Bella in with my watercolor pencils and used my blender pens from Stampin Up! ! I just love my Blender pens, I use them on a daily basis coloring in my images! Another embellishment that I use is the Hodge podge hardware with the green brads to secure it to the card front. I added the sentiment "Mwah" also with the "Mwhabella" The color scheme that I went with was Pixie Pink,Creamy Carmel,

Hello all, wow, 2 posts in one day. I think I kinda have this new computer a little figured out. It has been a challenge to say the least. Well, onto the goodies. I have a Bella Sistah from one of my Yahoo groups and for 3 months, we chat with each other, send cards, stamped images and just have some fun! Well this time around My Bella sistah is Jamie and today I received a package from her. Wow, what a cool package. She sent me some really cool goodies. To start off she sent me a monogramed clear stamp set in "D", A 3 ft. felt flower border. Totally cute, I have never seen this before. A glitter mix called "sweetheart" , 2 packages of Prima flowers, One of them is the coolest primas I have ever seen. they are Mesh and I really cant wait to use these. Vary cool. The other package is Prima fancies in aloha petals deep coral. Some stamped images which I will definitely use, If you don't have the actual stamp, then having the stamped images is the next best thing. An

Here is a card that I made with Bubblebella from Stamping Bella . It is time for me to start using all of my many pices of deco papers. I have too many to even count and I love them all so, this one is from "My minds eye" Isnt it pretty? I also used my micro beads in purple on the bath tub. How cool is that? I wanted to try something a little different for the sentiment, so I pulled out my rub ons and I decided on "Daydream" and "Imagine" I thought they were pretty appropriate for the image! I really like the bright colors on this card and using my nesties in the scalloped circles just added a little something! Enjoy my creation as I will have more soon!

Hello all, Well this is my first post using my new computer and what I am having a hard time with is when I download a picture, I don't know where in the heck I put it. Yikes! I have been getting a little frustrated with this Windows Vista thing. Has anyone else experienced any problems with Windows Vista? I guess when you get used to something and then something new comes along, It is kind of a shocker. Well, I have been away for a while because of the new computer, so hopefully I can get my butt in gear and figure this out. Anyhow, Here is a card that I made for Craigs Grandma's birthday. We are going to have dinner with her and the family tomorrow evening for her 92nd. birthday. On this card I used the stamp set Doodle this and the Happy Birthday is from "Think happy thoughts" Both from Stampin Up! I the designer paper I used is also from Stampin Up! which was retired a couple of years ago. I used my nesties for the sage shadow and barely banana scallop circles an

Hello all, I am so sorry that I have been MIA. I really have lost my mojo. I try and try and try and nothing. Well, Hopefully this weekend being a 3 day weekend and we are staying home this weekend, I will get some projects done. I just recently purchased 8 new Bellas and this is one of them. This card is pretty basic but I felt that I needed to post something. I used my metallic gel pens to color in her bike which I think is the cutest part of the image. I left the mirrors

Hello my Friends , I have been such the slacker this week. I think it's the weather, we finally are getting some rain, after having 2 weeks of 70 deg. weather. This is not typical Calif. weather in February. I am so glad we are finally getting some rain. I went to a stamp camp on Thursday evening at Ginas , It is her monthly stamp camp and I don't miss those for anything. It is a really great group of ladies and I just have so much fun with them! We worked on quite a few projects for Valentines day. First, a 3X3 pizza box with the little birdie in its nest. Isn't that adorable? Then we made 3 cards to put into the box, Vary simple but vary cute! The next project that we made was this totally adorable card made with the Bigz Top Note from Stampin Up! I think this is a great idea. Not just for Valentines day but for any occasion! We also die cut the white card stock , embossed it with the Swiss dots EF and cut at the perforation so we could layer it on the card. We d
